Before reading further, please don't read too deeply into this post. I just happened to learn about this interesting story this morning and found it be in great irony. Does anyone remember a few months ago when Katy Perry had filmed an appearance on Sesame Street, but the shows producers axed the segment because they thought that her top was too revealing? Now, seemingly without much thought, Sesame Street has asked singer Bruno Mars to appear in the show's upcoming season. For those who aren't aware, Mars was arrested on cocaine possession charges last September. Things that make you go hmmmmmmmmmmmm!

I wouldn't really say it was a double standard because they are two different things that caused the questioning. I do however think that it was overkill worrying about Katy Perry's cleavage. They are contemplating having Burt and Ernie gettign married on the show but worry about cleavage? Sesame Street is a very far way from what it used to be and honestly I don't know of kids that watch it anymore so I am really surprised it is still on anyway

There is a c.d. that is based on ernie and burt... it's humor but homosexual (in good taste / humor for the homosexuals). Beh, I feel like I said that all wrong but hope you know I mean no offense. In any case, It's crazy how much publicity sesame street gets, really the kids aren't going to know the difference and so it shouldn't matter with Bruno, but Katy Perry's cleavage was a good thing to take out of. I am sure there were plenty of stars that guest starred when we were younger and watching it that wasn't very.... straight and narrow.

Why don't they screen things better? It seems they are wasting alot of time and money on these things? Who is behind the scenes and not doing their homework? I bet Oprah wouldn't let this happen! And especially on Sesame Street! I would only allow certain people on.
