Some people are scared to fly on a plane. Can you think of suggestions how to help ease those people's fear? Do you think that traveling on a train is a better choice for such a person? How does a long haul flight differ from a short haul flight?

In fact I prefer to travel by plane because this is the fastest way for us to arrive at the destination. Especially I don't have a long vacation, I don't want to waste more time on the way. In fact is nothing to be scary in the plane. If a person is afraid of it, it is better that others will keep talking and eating with him/her so that he/she will not focus on the flying. The time can pass soon. I love China

My husband was scared of flying (I think it was the only thing he truly feared). I talked to him in th plane, held his hand, but from where we live thereĀ“s no other way to go places besides planes. So he accepted it as he loved the rest. I think tht the worst was to think of flying more than the distance. My sister uses a pill to help her to cope. I once had to give keiki to a younster by my side in a plane. Trains are not a solution in many parts of the world.

I cannot suggest travel in trains for such persons because sometimes he may have to go to other destinations where plane journey is the only way. For such persons the main problem is that they afraid of heights. So, I will suggest them to close their eyes and think that they are sitting on the ground. It will ease them.
