Orphanages for everyone

Are there any such societies , welfare organisations,homes ,or orpahanges for every person in need.In India are there such type of people who do run such trusts where the needy can go and have shelter.Can there be trust in such things,are they really do exist ,do they really do service ,Does Government of India do provide facilities for such people who are in such Homes or Orphanages.
I got a link where there are many orphanage homes ,however i dont know how many do really exist.How many are only for records and how many do really do service.

Hi umabharati, there are many orphanages run in India by many different organisations and some of them are good.I happened to visit one in Bangalore run by nuns and it was really good.However, some of them are poorly kept and one feels sorry to see the poor children there , the look in their eyes !I hyave visited several in Bangalore with my sister since she is a government doctor, a peadiatrician and has to visit orphanages as part of her duty...

can u give the address here ? As u had visited that Orphanage and seen the people who are living in such homes what and how the orphanage does take care of such people ? their food? clothing? etc., How much secure is the girl child there ? Did you find any Government undertaken orphanages ?

I cant remember the name of the catholic orphanage offhand since I visited it a couple of years ago ...It looks very good and run through donations.They seem to have a lot of money, since everything is neat and well organised...I am sure that everybody is well taken care of there..There are several orphanages that have government backing in Bangalore ,although I have visited only one that my sister used to visit since she was on duty there for sometime...

Wow! great news and thanks for sharing link really in India lots of orpahanges are there. I have seen in link all over India how much orpahanges are. I think this is good place where needy can go. At least they feel better than alone. Because lots persons are staying alone and they are finding some nice place where they can stay.

in that list we should know how many really do service to the orphans who are in need.All over India there are many such organisations in each and every state.However how many do really do service and how much governemtn spends for such people in these days where day to day there is raise in costs.
