hi mylotters,
I don't know what exactly should I feel after I talked to a friend
I greeted him Happy Birthday in a very excited voice but too bad he is having his break time at office I sensed that he is not interested to talk with me (then fine)
First I just wanted to greet him
Second I just wanted to update him what is happening in mylot and to the upcoming meet up of some Filipino Mylotters
But it seems he doesn't like the idea at all 
.
He commented something that hurt my feelings
I don't know if I am just too sensitive or what
I am not trying to steal the spot light here, I just wanted to help and be friend with Filipino mylotters online or offline.

Actually I am not aware it is his birthday..when ?
I am not sure how to react ,but I would prefer to talk with him in person hoping he will met us with few mylottes on Saturday.

I would also say that maybe it's not the right time to talk to him. As what others have said that maybe he's not in the mood to discuss things due to work or some problems in the office or he's not feeling well. Try to talk to him again later and ask him if he's just fine. In your case, I guess you should be more concerned about the situation than feel bad if you're really his friend. Just wish him the best since it's his birthday.

I'm sure there are myLotters who appreciate what you've done :) Maybe you just caught him at a bad time. I don't know what he said to you but it might be something heavy since you took it to heart. Just let it go and just think that everyone's entitled to their own opinion and you can't please everybody :) Hope your day will go fine :)

hi bhaby. i guess he is just too busy in the office. but wait, i remember the last time we met, that he even left the office to meet us. so i don't think it's the office but there could be something else. i also think there is really some problem with him because at either sites he has not been visible for the last few months now. i can recall that he was promoted, then quit, and the last time, he was thinking about the 2nd meet-up/conference.

Maybe this person has a bad day and some how he wasn't in the mood to have cheerful talks with you. I believe you have to accept the fact that some people can be moody and jsut let them be. if they're not in the mood just leave them alone, they will talk when they are in the mood, might even apologize. care to pm me who this person is? is this some one we know? because I greeted some one happy Birthday lately.
If they like to be left alone i can suggest that we should just respect it.

Hi bhaby catch: I am a very emotional person and these things affect me when I heard that the person I love and care treat me in a bad way. But then you should try to realize what may happened, did you have a problem or what's happening in your friend's life. Maybe he is suffering or something. Maybe it's just the stress charge. Try to let it be and approach to him later if he wants to. There must be a reason for his reaction.

Hi there, I'm sorry that you feel that way. There are times that I also got offended by simple things. But I think you should try to talk to that person first. There must be a reason why he did that, probably he had a bad day or the timing is not right. Try to settle the misunderstanding by speaking directly to that person. Have a nice day!

Maybe he was not on the mood then. Maybe he was preoccupied that time. Maybe he has a big problem and wants to be alone first before hearing another information from others. Just give him time to be alone and maybe he will soon listen and will not talk that would hurt your feelings again.

I think you should call him first before you went over and meet and greet him. People when too busy or in an office, tends to look serious and not interested with this kind of visit. But, he shouldn't comment something that hurt your feelings a lot. Just hope after he read your this discussion, will understand your good intention. And will join and meet you all. I always feel hurt if my friends said something that doesn't cares me much.Sometimes their saying just come out from their month and their thinking,they didn't take me in account and also blame me,it's such a bad feeling and hurt me.I feel awful at that time.

Maybe you should give him the benefit of the doubt, maybe he's just not in the mood or maybe he has a problem. But on second thought, there's also a possibility that maybe he's avoiding you. It's not nice of him to hurt your feelings like that. Think twice, is he really your friend?
