i just browse my friends list and noticed that most of them are inactive, only few were active so i'm thinking of deleting the inactive ones with a post of less than 500 while some of them will retain. who knows, post with 600 and up might become active again some other time just like me. how about you guys, ever thinking of deleting some of your friends that are also inactive?

Nowadays i don't easily accept friends with less than 50 posts but i keep them pending for a month. After a month if they're not active i just ignore them. I don't see any difference in ignoring non-active members and deleting non-active friends. If they are not active at all then how can mylot be more fun. But i'm hoping that those inactive members would come back if they have more than 100 posts. Some of them really do come back.

TWo to three years is such a long time but you did right? So there really is a chance for those inactive people to comeback, especially if they have posted a lot in mylot already.

i dont delete inactive friends unless they didnt log in for 3 years or more. some people are not that active but if you scroll down their page you will see that they log in 2 months ago or some a week ago. i delete people who are active but does not join any of my started discussion. for i always open my email first before starting mylot, for at my email i see what are the discussions that my friends started. but if i find someone who is active but does not join in any of my discussion, i delete it. for me that is the purpose of hy you have them on your list of friends, so that you can help them with the discussion they started and they will help you as well. i also delete inactive member when their numbers are 500 and below, but if the member has a thousand and more numbers i save them. i am sure they will come back. i too took a 3 months rest and now i am back.

Hi rhane! It's been a long time since I last deleted a friend from my list. I don't check my list at all anymore. Well, I check once in a while but only to turn off/on notifications for particular persons. I rarely delete friends anymore because I think it's too tedious to go over my friend list which is getting longer and longer.^^ To avoid deleting, I just get extra careful in approving friend requests.

few members do not advise to delete members from our friends list. even when they got inactive for some times. they thought maybe those members just got busy with some important things with their lives thereby keeping away from mylot. one day we will find out that they are back. deleting members from the list is also not my way, unless that member is a troll, a spammer or i am annoyed with their existence.

I have to delete those ones who are inactive for certain period of time. I can't keep them in my lists since I am also accepting new friends request from new comers who are active. I don't want to have big numbers of friends in my lists but the reality is i don't even received any responses from all of them. I understand for those who cannot relate with my topic...but for those inactive ones...i really feel sorry but I have to delete a few. have a good day jaiho®
