I am proud that I am born as a woman . I am blessed to have born so . We are the marvellous creation of our creator . We have extreme power of endurance , power to tackle situations calmly , love to offer freinds and foe and the divine blessing of giving birth to a new born . WOMAN IS GOD'S LOVE IN ACTION. SHE LOOKS WITH HER HEART AND FEELS WITH HER EYES . A WOMANIS THE BANK WHERE HER FAMILY DEPOSITS ALL THEIR ANGER , HURT AND WORRIES . SHE'S THE CEMENT THAT KEEPS HER FAMILY TOGETHER. HER LOVE LASTS A LIFETIME . BUT ALAS SHE'S THE MOST UNWANTED AND NEGLECTED LOT IN THE SOCIETY .(exceptions may always be there) Are you proud to be a woman ? I think all women here are so. Please share your views . Men are as well free to comment for and against .

I'm proud to be woman. But as I see what happening in some arabic countries I doubt in the sense of everything. You have to cover your face there, you can not speak free, you can not be educated, drive your car, have freedom do choose who you will marry. Basically women are slaves there. They are treated worst than any animals. I can not imagine myself living there. It just like evolution stopped there. No offence to anyone but this is the truth.

Thanks koperty3 for your response . It is sad in some countries women are not that liberated like us . The ones who protest are also tyranized . Hope and pray things improve fast with intervention and remonstration world wide .

Even I often mull over such unnecessary curbs. More awareness and conscience is required among women as well to break forth and liberate themselves . Many women in such countries as well support such restraints .World wide mass protest and demonstration is much obligatory .

Of course, I am proud to be a woman! I can (and have) done most everything that a man can. I worked in a "men's world" for many years as an Over-the-Road truck driver. I may have had to be just a little bit better than the man next to me doing the same job in order to be recognized as his equal, but I dealt with that and came away stronger! I have raised three (lost one in a car accident in 1983) sons and have two beautiful and strong Christian men as grown sons. My oldest is on the missionary trail to become a missionary to Africa. My youngest owns and operates a 'Family Tree Service' with family values and Christian Principles. I also worked in a male dominated profession as an accountant for many years. There is no reason to be ashamed of being born female and growing into a productive and wonderful woman. I am now 70 years old and every bit the woman I ever was!

Being a woman made me a mom...and there is no better role that can be played other than being a mother.
