Entries in search engines, Google may not prefer himself?

I just looked for a music video before, and came to the Google owned YouTube, several competitors were used in the Google search. Why is this? If I were Google, I'd listen up Youtube and I prefer it myself. Or can not because of the monopoly? Note: The video is always exactly the same, no difference in quality!
