Friends,
Robots and software programmes are invading every field of human activity. Rob's do heart surgereies. Computers defeat chess masters. Artifical intelligence is on a up.
Would software programmes do writing in near future?
Would it come to a situation where you have to just ask for legth and type of artilce and a sifware would deliver it?
It would write a love song, short story and a marketing article.
Scary. Isnt it? To us writers?
Please pen your thoughts.

Creativity can never be challenged by machines, more even machines and softwares are created by us only. So there is no danger, keep up your writing skills and you will always be valuable.

Sorry lidia dear, I beg to differ a little bit from you on God's creation. I am an atheist and believe that no God is involved in any natural phenomenon and all is the result of evolutionary processes going on in the Cosmos under Nature's principles, which we study as sciences.
Even if we agree that God created, so must be true to other species of life too, and they should also be equally good as humans. According to my belief, other species of life are lower levels of evolution process, so are inferior.

i think robot will never as creative as human being, so i don't think writer will be an extinct profession.

Hmmm who knows, sooner or later they may device a programme to write independently.
To be frank, I was bit playful dear. dont mena it exactly.
