We are constantly beseiged by ads. It is not only the pop-up ads online or the junk mail we get. But, frequently we receive little post cards inserted in our magazines, or cards packed loosely in our bills and other mail. Of course, it all falls out unto the floor and we have to pick it up. The advertisers are hoping that in the few seconds it is in our hands, we might spot something that appeals to us and actually read the ad. My question is, Has this ever worked with you? Have you ever purchased a product because you became interested after reading one of those cards?
