How will I get the nail polish remover smell from the carpet?

So it's about my little sister while she has her nails painted ne three quarters spilled nail polish remover bottle has on our living room carpet. Now, the carpet smells very strongly and sharply after the remover. We've tried everything to get rid of the odor (carpet cleaners, dishwashing liquid) Even the carpet is sprayed with deodorant but it still smells. What can we do to get rid of the smell?
