Cooking food for my special someone

Cooking is the least hobby that I would like to do since that I was trained for boys household chores and not for the girls. Being the eldest, I was assigned to fetching water and filling our one drum of water before playing during on my childhood. Holding a pan and a ladle doesn't give me the drive to cook and instead just to eat food that my family prepared for the table. Until I met this man that inspired me to watched TV shows that has cooking contest or TV shows that teaching how to cook different viands and baking some of my favorite cakes, cookies and desserts. I'm getting positive feedback from my family and I can't wait for him to taste it when he gets here.
