I overheard this statement at the restaurant yesterday from a little boy (around 4 to 6 years old). He asked this out of curiosity to his mom while playing with the baby of his Auntie. The older people around him were laughing of his statement. He got no answer instead his mom let him ate an ice cream to divert his attention. If you will be asked the same question by your kids, what would be your answer?

Haha~ Maybe many parents feel this question is embarassing. Many parents around me will answer like this: I picked up you from garbage can,or you are not my birth. They always avoid the question. I think we can answer them in a positive way. We can say: Because your dad and mom fall love each other,so we have a love crystal----you!

I'd ask them what they think and why they ask. They might actually have quite a good idea. Then I would explain it at an age appropriate level. By 6 or 7 I already knew the basics about how they were made.

"when two people love each other and they want the same thing a special little thing happens between them."
