why do some people hate spiders a lot?

Hi mylotters I have been thinking for many years why do I hate spiders more than a snake even. Whenever I see these creatures I start howling and I get such a bad feeling that I dont even know how to explain how I feel. Once I happened to watch a movie spiders in HBO, From that day onwards the fear has become more.I have heard that there are people who have the same feeling.

I have watched the movie spiders. Didn't like it that much, though. I am not scared of spiders. There are a couple in my house.
Some people are scared of the creature, mostly because, some of them are really poisonous, and some people just cannot stand the sight of 8 legs in a creature.
