This is a matter of life and death....... If given the choice that you sacrifice one of your 5 senses what would you choose to be removed? I know this is impossible but when the situation like this arises what is the best option you'll think of?

Umm... Why? If I had to lose my senses, I think I would lose my smell. I need my eyes because my hobby is animating, eating is terribly pleasurable and so I don't want to lose my tongue, my touch is important because... it is, and I love music so my ear is out of the question. So yeah. I think my nose is the least important. Not saying I want to be like Voldermort with my nose lopped off.

Nice choice, though I had gotten sick last year my sinuses got worst specially in the morning when I get out of bed, I really was sick that my sense of smell was gone for like a week. I can't smell the food I was eating and my appetite changed and that made me even sick. But given me a choice I'll go for sense of smell too. Thanks for the response!

Hmm. By taking away the nose, the quality of the mouth is decreased as well? This kind of makes the choice harder. But it probably is the best choice. Can't imagine going without ham, but I can imagine going without perfume.

Hahaha! I don't know about that, But yeah, I have tried eating without tasting my food that would be hard but going out without perfume- I probably can live with that.

That is easy. I would give up my hearing. I wouldn't have to listen to people fighting, I could sleep better because I wouldn't be able to hear my cats howling. As for music, I don't like music anyway.

Okay! I like hearing to music though, maybe that would be a nice choice too, but I would still go for my sense of smell. Thanks for the response.

That's interesting! But just because you can't hear, doesn't mean the people aren't fighting anymore. I was going to say that Beethoven started writing 'happy' music after he lost his hearing. Do you think this has something to do with this? I thought that because Beethoven had all that external turmoil and unnecessary noise blocked off, all he could really hear was the music in his head, and that might be what made him happy. Sorry for going off topic. Continue as if I wasn't here.

When I die It really depends when someone is really needing my senses in order for them to live as long as I have still my senses I am willing to sacrifice for it in order for them to live and enjoy what I am enjoying when I was still alive.
