Do you always reply back to comments on discussions started by you ?

I don't start many discussions but when I do I comment back to each and every member. I have furthered my own discussions also where if someone comes back to comment where I already commented I usually have plenty more to say. It does help that I am a chatterbox and the fact that I usually start discussions of something that truly interests me, gives me more opportunities to continually interact in them. Yes all participation will boost your earnings, as if you can remember you earn for what you type and I earn for what I type. No one earns for what others type here on myLot. For me the importance is that, I find members take the time to read my topics and apply useful and helpful information. If I want the flow to continue then I find it necessary for me to continually participate. No one likes talking to themselves and if we do not comment to them, this is how they will feel. See lot of members will research the web to apply a good useful response at times and if we do not comment back, how will they know that we even read them. So with time if we continually ignore responses members will remember our type of activity and stop responding.

I try to reply on every comment on discussion I started. I want to make sure that people who replied feels that I'm truly engaged in the discussion and that I really care about comments because I really do. It's also a matter of being polite. I can it can affect your ratings but I don't think so it affect your earnings.

I think it is only mannerly to answer every response I get to on a discussion I started. SOme may just be a 'thanks for your input' I do answer each one. I think of it as how would I feel if someone didn't answer mine. THe Golden Rule is a good rule of thumb I think. It helps make a decision or two.

I try to reply if I can, specially when the answers are good. But unfortunatly I don´t always have the tme to do it. Sometimes I reply later which is not the best way to d it. It affects our earnings but, mst of all, it also affects our relations with friends here. Replies, comments, pictures, anything you do here, are considered participatin. So if your comments have quality, you earn.

I comment back to responses to my discussions, though some times i may be late, there must be sharing of opinions Best of luck. Professor

Hello friend. I used to reply on the comments for the discussions that I posted. this is really important for me because I can tell whether I created a good discussions or not. And also some of my discussions are questions so I really need to go back and response to every comments of some members here in mylot.

Warm Welcome to Mylot Dear Rollylolly! This is an interesting topic! In fact I have also started such topic few weeks back and to that discussion I have received about 36 responses! In fact it is minimum courtesy to respond back to the member who responded to our discussion in the form of a comment! This is what makes this site a different one from others as we keep on responding to each other here to make a topic into conversation or an actual discussion! You can see there are more than one member participating in a response, to make it a lively discussion!Coming back to the responses I got to my discussion, I thought of giving comment to each and every discussion, but I couldn't do so because of time factor and having responded with comments now I got bot bored and I will soon go back to my discussion and respond back the comments! It is a big responsibility as we should thoroughly understand what a member wants to say through his/her response and accordingly we need to give our comment! Simply commenting formally by saying 'Thanks for the response', won't serve the purpose! There are some members who are genuinely interested and they are very serious in responding, to comment such members it takes some time for me as too think for a while and justifies by comment accordingly! Last but not the least commenting back and making your topic as discussion makes your participation more on the site and you can earn better by doing so!!!!! I personally feel we should initiate any discussion only if we have ample of time at our disposal to comment back every member! If for some or other reason if we are unable to do so immediately, there is no harm commenting on them later on with due apologies! I get quite late comments and responses too like this! Even I get best responses for my responses which have posted few months back! So here on this forum the saying 'Better Late Than Never' holds absolutely good!!!! Regarding the earnings I have already discussed, now coming to rating part, if the member likes your comment or subject of topic under the discussion he/she may rate you with a plus and your rating has direct link with your earnings! So, I think you should start commenting back on your responses, why not then , be it on weekends! I think it is high time for me to get back to my discussion to comment back! Yes, I try to reply back to the comments as quickly as I can, and as many as I can. Firstly, I would wish to give my appreciation to fellow-myLotters who had taken the time to comment on my postings. Secondly, it is always very interesting to exchange ideas on the topic.

The very essence of this site is discussion and a discussion cannot happen if there are no back and forth comments on responses received. I have always commented and in fact I am happy doing it.

Hi rollylolly, when i make discussions or make responds got reply from those i will reply the nest day or will reply then depends on my mood or if i like the reply. I dont reply to all the responds i got from my discussion. and we earn from all the reponds we did, it affect our ratings.
