I am sure all of us would have heard about space travel and that it is becoming a reality in the near future. So, when it does materialize then what is posted in this article will be a great idea but I am wondering why the US isn't the first to actually come up with this idea of a space hotel. Orbital Technologies have conceptualized and started plans to go ahead with this hotel or otherwise known as named International Space Station. However, there will be few things one will have to accept and adapt as guests of this CSS. For one, due to the weightlessness in space, you may have to choose to have beds that are either vertical or horizontal, while showers will be sealed affairs to stop water going where it shouldn’t we must make do with sponge baths until its time to return home. Food wise, I believe it will be interesting as the developers believed that they can do away with the freeze-dried tubes of nourishment given to astronauts and replace them with delicacies prepared on earth and sent up to us. So, you can enjoy a menu such as braised veal cheeks with wild mushrooms, white bean puree, potato soup and plum compote. How's that to whet your appetite? On the hindsight, don't expect this to be a budget holiday for an estimated cost of a five-day stay will cost you £100,000, on top of £500,000 for your two days aboard a Soyuz rocket journey. So, how about it? Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sciencetech/article-2026534/Commercial-Space-Station-Russian-firm-Orbital-Technologies-reveals-hotel-plans.html

Hello sky, what is the status of the National Economy of Russia that they have decided to resort to this? well, at least RUssia still has Space Center up and running using soyuz as hotels, maybe US should compete with Russia by turning part of the International space station as HOTEL too Sky, If only i had the money and brain, i'd rather build my own racket and have my own exploration to the moon and mars. Only rich like Bill gates would go to a place like that.

As a child I remember seeing the grainy black and white pictures of a man on the moon but apart from that excitement I really have no interest in what happens in space. I know that it must be full of junk from bits of space craft and there must be many bodies floating around too which is a bit eerie. I do not read science fiction although I do believe in flying saucers quite emphatically but no real interest in space. So I guess by now you have deduced that I will not be buying a ticket?

wow, that is so expensive to me and I can't totally afford that vacation.....(^^) thank you for the offer sky. Even if I got money to do so I will think more than twice to go or not to go because we just experience the view inside the space...it will be boring but I am sure it such a great experience..
