Hi everyone! Juat wanna share what we're having for dinner. Tonight, we're having pancit and lechon kawali for dinner. Pansit is stir-fried noodle (in our case, egg noodle I think!hehe) mixed with vegetables and pork. It's seasoned with soy sauce and pepper. Some use fish sauce too. And le hon kawali is nothing but deep fried pork portions (in our case, pork belly!)hihihi I also cooked fried chicken marinated in lemongrass and fish sauce. Sounds yummm now that I put it in words hahaha! Good thing I was able to run this morning, hahahah! :) anyway, this is just for the 2 of us. Guess, I'll be eating leftovers again this week!hahahah

I would love to know some of your noodle recipes...I LOVE noodles! It depends on what you want in your Pad Thai as to how much it costs...Chicken or beef is $11.90, port is $12.90, Lamb is $13.90 & prawns or mixed seafood is $15.90. I love the way she makes Singapore Noodles too

Yeap, why not just buy from P' Lek and just enjoy the food!hihihi... By the way, how much is a Pad Thai from her stall? Here is just 20-25 baht. Conversion is 30baht to an AUD.

Hi acey! I love pancit, actually. I even like eating Lucky Me pancit canton.hehehe We have stacks of them here at home. However, since I've been watching what I eat lately, I don't think I've opened a pack for nearly a year now.

Lechon for us in our culture, (Puerto Rico), is slow cooked roasted pork. MMM this is an all time favorite of ours and mostly have it for parties and or big gatherings. Sometimes here I buy smaller pork shanks and slow cook it for my boyfriend and I on the weekends. This then leaves plenty of left overs. Enjoy your dinner and I have no clue yet what is in store for our dinner tonight as it is 9am here.

Hi HWG! Our dinner went so well. My cousin helped us finish all the food, hihihi... I love lechon. It's just it's a very sinful food!hahaha! We seldom eat it because of its high cholesterol content. It's fine if we have it once in a while, though.hihihi....

Hungry now... I miss eating pork and pancit from philippines. It sounds delicious, all your foods but isn't that too much for only 2 persons? Don't you get fed up or satiated eating those for a week? :)
