I love clothes, shoes and bags that's why i have decided to put up a very small RTW shop. I resigned from my work since it's been my dream to have one and thought that it would be a good idea. It's about 3 months already and I don't know if I have made the right decision. Sales is not that good. How about you guys? Share your insights about doing business.

i am currently into business but unlike yours, mine deals with services. here's what i think of the type of business you are in: - 3 months is too early to determine whether business is doing good or not. it would depend on the location and the competitors you have in the area. - if business is going slow, you can go online to sell your stocks. you can add to your income without having to pay extra for another shop. research on what trusted sites you can register on, how to apply for payment methods, even shipping. - you might want to consider doing lay-away but then again think twice before doing so as receivables are quite hard to deal with. but it is one way to get clients to order from you. - you can actually work part time or even full time while managing the rtw shop. just keep a reliable stock inventory and monitor it regularly. there is no way your saleslady will be able to do something wrong if u follow a simple accounting system for your business. that way, you still have fixed income when business is at low. - dont be discouraged with your first three months not going as you expected. you can always try adding new stuff to your shop or reinvent the look or research more on how to market your goods better. good luck! be as creative as you can be and everything will go well :)

I love business. My father is a wholesale dealer in steel and ceramic tiles. I used to go there and I can earn more from my father's shop then online. I wish to start a business after two or three years. I wish to enter in steel manufacturing. Thanks for this post

I already had my own business. I shop for the sale of dog and cat food and accessories. but I can tell you that everything was going well until I started working for the costs. and so I quit. My advice before you open a shop and explore everything well then go ahead. nice day!

I once joined a food cart business and my initial investment of $700 went down the drain. The location and people at first were ok but as time passes, fewer people came to the place and eventually, we went bankrupt. After what happened, I still don't have enough money to start another business. But given the chance and resources, I would like to start a cafe business :D Cafe now-a-days are huge and the current "in" thing :D
