Can anybody help me by giving a list of the kind of foods or vegetables that a patient with hypothyroidism should avoid eating? What foods may increase his or her TSH level if consumed regularly?

I also have the same problem. They say pork meat is best avoided and all the other oily foods. It is best that you take extra virgin coconut oil, lots of protein and vitamin C. The best fruit fir that is Guyabano, pineapple and bananas. Try researching on barley with goiter because I have found my cure with drinking pure barley powder. My nodule shrunk because of barley. They also advised to avoid nuts. I don't know what kind of nuts but I noticed that it hurts when I eat peanuts. And I can't drink caffeine too because the tight feeling gets worse too.
