Are Your Parents Close?

My parents may be a pain in the heart sometimes but I love them. Haha. I like the fact that they've been good to each other again since my father changed a lot after been busted with extra marital affair 10 years ago. My mom was so devastated and angry but eventually in time she made a very difficult decision of forgiving my father despite his unfaithfulness and promised to be good again to her and us his kids. Now, i can see how they grown much comfortable together and remained close. Thankful to God about this. How close are your parents?

My mother lives in different country than I live. I have diplomatic contact with her as I can't forgive her some things from our past. But I care about her deeply and I love her. She knows that she can count on my help every time when she required one. As for my father I never new him. So I have only my mother.
That's really good that your parents are happy together again.

Oh, I'm sorry. But I'm also glad that you have that significant bond with your mom although something happened in the past. Hoping all is well with you.

I have a lot of friends who have divorced parents, and I have always felt very sorry for them because of the fact that my parents have always been close. I think that if parents are close, that makes it a lot easier for the children to have a good relationship with them. However, there is nothing worse than parents who are still together but do nothing but fight all of the time. If this is the kind of relationship that your parents have, then it might be better for them to be apart as they could be much better parents to their children that way.
