(this is a fantasy thread, if you are not into topics like this post somewhere else.)
The ability to emit flames, fro fire bulls from your hands, the ability to burn a object just by using your mind. It's one of the most popular powers in science fiction and fantasy genres. throw fireballs to their opponents to win two matches. If you have the ability to control fire, emit flames from your hands just like a fire breeding dragon. How will you take advantage of this powers? I mean you don't need to be a superhero to use these powers. If you have the powers to make fire, how will you use this curse our blessing. How will you handle the responsibility of these powers?

Hi Albert, this thread of yours is not fantasy in fact it has been reported on the news about a three year old baby who can emit or create fire out of nowhere. It's even shown on TV when a thing just caught on fire out of nowwhere. Yes, the xmen are among us and they're here in the Philippines and they need Dr x to hone their talents. So far, this girl is living proof that a mutant do exist. wow, Is that Dark Phoenix, I hope she wont burn cities when she grows up, I hope scientist will leave her alone and she will have a normal life.

Is really hard to believe but it has been shown on local TV. It's really a pity since the girl may be able to emit or control fire but she gets burned in the process. Channel 2, 7 and 5 all reported it in the news. The one I saw was on TV 5 (not really sure) but it showed the burnt clothes, the partly burnt kitchen and the reporter showing on camera a small plastic chair that just caught fire out of nowhere. The parents are asking for help since most of their clothes were burnt off already.

Just like what your other poster says, I also saw the news about that little girl who they think have this kind of power. Well as far as I know, the family also needs some help coz they came from a poor family and I heard that the kid needs some medical attention too. I don't heard much about her now, but I hope that local government is helping their family and protecting the little girl.
Anyway, If I were to have such power, I just wish I can really control and use it well. This will really be beneficial since fire is necessary for us, from cooking to giving light, warmth... but I'm warning those bad people and some terrorists not to mess with me coz I might burn them alive!

Throwing fireballs to bad guys specially a terrorist sounds like a nice past time. I mean not really killing them but burning their eyes, hands and feet to make sure they won't be able to make crimes ever again. I know that sounds nasty but I really had enough of them. It's so antihero. Do you think some secret organization will be interested own that girl.

Maybe, specially if it will really be proven that she has such capability. But I wish the little girl will learn to control and use it well and I hope that she will not go in the hands of bad people. Maybe it will be better if she will be part of our countries' defense in the future. hehe

You know in comic books people with power has really been with fire always end up in the, villains. I mean look that Jeanne Grey home from the x-men ,She used to be super hero with her sights powers but when she became the phoenix , burning planets became her past time, so I do hope that girl will use her powers for good. I hope she will either use her powers for good or just live like a normal girl.

I saw this power in Xmen and heroes.. this is a wonderful power indeed, I can't really be a superhero with this power but I would help those who need fire, like in cooking food and other simple things that require fire. I wouldn't play with it much though since I might cause accidents.. And maybe i can make it vanish when there are big fires..if i can really control fire to that extent.

Extinguishing the fire is actually part of pyrokinesis. I really believe you don't have to be a superhero or a super villain to use these powers. Getting mad should be avoided though.Pursuing a career in circus might also work with these powers.

Having such power will be nice. It could help me lessen my monthly bills because I don;t have to Buy LPG's anymore since I can create my own fire to use in cooking.

I'd use it to burn anything that pisses me off. I'd teach it to others if they need it to empower them. Most of the time I'll use it to my benefits depending on my mood though.

I don't think I would like to have those abilities. The only time I really use fire is to light candles, and lighters work just fine for me
I think shooting fire from my hands would be more of a nuisance than a cool thing for me. I might accidentally cause huge fires or burn people/animals/objects.

I guess if you can manage to control it, things will be safe. You can enter the glass making and welding business though and you wont even need to have those expensive equipments.
