Silicone Barbecue Brush

I like barbecue very much. So recently my friend recommended me a new kind barbecue brush: silicone barbecue brush. It is said that its'handle is made of silicone which is eco-friendly. And its thermostability is very good. When barbecuing, i will not be burnt. Since i got this news, i googled on the internet and also found other silicone products,such as silicone bowl, silicone cup, silicone cup mat. It is very funny, and i just want to buy some silicone kitchen through online shopping. But before shopping,I want to listen to your ideas.Do you think silicone products are good to our health?

Silicone has been about for a long time and I have never heard anythoing about silicone that is bad.
To clean our gas barbeque, I use a metal brush, or should I really have said that I bought the brush, but the husband get to clean the barbecue,lol.
I know a good friend that uses silicone cup cases when making her cup cakes and I will say that the cup cakes come out perfect, she also has bowls that she also uses, with nothing bad to say about them.
