How do you feel about in-text advertising?

Have you ever been reading content online when you notice a word is a link but it is underlined twice? Have you ever hovered over that word only to find that an ad pops up? That is in-text advertising. What do you think of this kind of advertising? Is it intrusive and annoying? Or do you even notice it? Does it bug you or not bug you? If it does annoy you, why?

I don't text message. I hope you aren't charged for these. I know of afew occasions where people excepted texts from their phone company and were charged for them. I think that is absolutely idiotic. It is not as if these companies make millions on us as it is.

I really do not like it. And it is deceptive. When I see a link underlined twice, I think that it is giving a more complete description of that word, and does not go to a place where I have to buy something. For instance, if I saw a link with the word, piano, I would expect to see this" Invented in----, the piano is a stringed instrument where you press an ivory key === not Yamaha pianos sale on now."
