Adding new sections to your interests

Sometimes when I look and respond to a topic through the top discussions, or no responses or hot topics area, I find that its an area that I have never really posted in. Therefore when its not in my interests, myLot offers a prompt, asking whether or not I want to add such and such an area to my interests. I sit there, pondering if that is an area that I want to post in on a regular basis, that it would be worthy of adding it to my discussions. Maybe I'll add it, maybe I won't, but its a way to discover previously untapped areas of this website for sure. It is amazing that new areas can be found purely by chance. Do you find new sections when discovering a topic by chance and do you find yourself tempted to add some of them to your regular interests?

Due to my high activity here I am finding that I get the option to add more and more interests here. Usually I accept because I find that I am usually participating in that area so skipping means I will be continually asked, so I simply accept. There are some areas I try not to accept but only because it is an area I know I would not be interested in participating in. Yes there are many instances I do stumble on new interests simply because it is an interest where I am participating in, if I find the interest interesting then yes I will add as it will give me yet that more opportunities to learn more along with others.

There are all sorts of opportunities for sure. If I find an area that I keep stumbling across time and time again, then perhaps that would be a good idea to add it for sure. At least after the first few handful of times. Despite the fact that I have been here for a bit of time, you just never know what you might not have uncovered after a while. So many untapped areas and so much potential. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I am constantly adding new interests here as well as rejecting others even though I reach a good post there from a friend. For me, interests are not only places from where I will post, but also places from where I will learn or meet interesting people. Other times I add an interest and discover that all the posts there are not what I would have expected. I haven´t deleted any yet, and I don´t even know if they can be deleted. Happy posting!

Indeed, there are many interest areas where there aren't that many posts that catch my interest. I'm sure that they rather interest someone to say the very least. But there is not enough for me to justify adding them to go back to them and comb through for potential topics. Plus there are many areas where maybe a thread gets posted once or twice a week if that. I don't really know if I can delete areas, but really, its not something I'm inspired to do so right at the moment. Perhaps you can, but I tend to end up where I can get the most out of my experience, so its all good. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.

I add more interests and if someone posts something there, I will see the picture in my monitor. I usually don´t post here searching for my interests, but respond to other posts and if an interest appears where I want to post at that moment, I do it. But I´m the kind of member that makes 1 or 2 posts a day at the most.

If i see that the interest could have more than one discussion that would interest me than i guess i add them, but if i know that i wont like it i dont even try to add them.

Yeah that does seem to be the obvious step I can take. There are many times where every now and again, there might be a topic that catches my interest in a certain section. In fact, every now and again, there might really be a topic that is just there period. However, it is a judgment call, as there tends to be a good topic every now and again in areas where I would normally not have any interest in. Which, I should note is a mark of a good poster in many ways. Thanks for responding. Its appreciated. Have a nice day.
