not much, i do not remember anything as vivid as you all would probably have. growing up with my parents and not with my grandparents... we only visit them when there are occasions, hence we are not that close...

my dad was the youngest of 4 brothers and my grandma had him when she was in her 40s so by the time i came along, they were retired. my favourite memory of them was when i used to go to their house and spend time. when i was in grade 7 & 8, i used to go there for lunch every day.

I am the favorite grandchild and I remember my grand parents spoiling me. My grand mom will always take me out on weekends if my parents are working. My grandpa is a farmer and everyday he will bring me home candies. My grand mom love to cook and I love watching her. She cooks really tasty foods and that is what I really miss about her.

One thing I remember most about my paternal grandpa is when I visited him in Greece back in 1975, I was 6, every evening after my friends and I parted to go home, I would go to the village post office where my grandpa worked, and wait for him to close down for the day. From there, we'd walk over to one of the local cafe's and we'd have soft drinks and eat a good pastry. From there, we'd go home where my grandmother waited for us. We'd change into our church clothes, and the three of us would go to church at night, where my grandpa was chanter. My grandma and I would sit in the front pew, throughout the service, listening to the sermon and to my grandpa chant. It was beautiful. These are the times I cherish the most.

My grandparents were a great help for my family as they continue supporting my mom and her family in terms of financial needs and giving us rice even if my mom is not taking care of the fields. My grandparents never stopped supporting their daughter even if she has her own family and as a grand daughter they have been a great help in finishing my studies.

Well, my grandparents are still alive, so I don't feel right about talking about them in past. I will speak in present instead They're your regular elders. Once they worked in a farm, but they retired long ago, and now I always see them just sitting on a chair, talking or not, but not doing anything special really. I think it's their right to have the time to relax finally after so much hard work in the past

aww that is so sweet! What I can remember is that they always make delicious sweets and cook meals for us. My grandpa is a fisherman so he come home with fresh fish and sometimes give me seashells and I make bracelets or necklace from it. He also brought me to sell the fish he caught and we buy groceries after that and treat me some cookies or bread. My grandmother stays at home but she knows how to paint, fix the roof and get coconuts! I usually pick or harvest tomatoes, guava, wild berries, pineapples and some veggies that can be found at our backyard! I love them so much and thank god for having them as my grandparents. =)

Grandparents are the best! They're so adorable. I remember when I was a child I would visit my Grandma and Grndpa at their little house in this small neighborhood where old people lived. My Grandma would always journey to the shops and carry all these shopping bags back home and cook us an excellent dinner. She was mighty strong! And it was funny how she would offer me and my cousins money and she had to chase us down just to shove the money into our pockets. =) Lovely memories.

My grandparents raised me since childhood so, they stood beside me as a real parents. I am not a spoiled one, yet I can say, I am well-loved and pampered that much. I missed my grandma she passed away 3 years ago. My grandpa is now living with his eldest son and is far away from me. I remember my childhood with my grandparents- and will always remember them the rest of my life. have a good day jaiho®
