Food coloring

I've been making some little cakes today and I dyed the cake mix so they look like legos. How much food dye is too much though? The box said to use about 50 drops for a box cake but I made it from scratch and used about 60 drops all together. Is this too much?

Beautifully colored cake - Sweet and lively cake
I am not a expert when it comes to baking my dear but I am a cake lover and I love cakes with beautiful colors. I don't really eat them but I love to look at them. Now because I am not an expert, I can't really tell how much dye your cakes need. But I am certain the instructions in the box tells which is the exact amount needed so I think you should rather follow. If you dropped 60 then that is over 10 drops than what is instructed. I don't know if that is still safe. Experts should answer this question.

Sorry,friend i don't know any thing about to make cakes.,i think its should much good if you ask this to some cooks or some one else who had made this type of cakes before..
