Man's best friend.

I always heard that a "Dog is man's best friend" can a cat too be a best friend???

Dogs bite and attack humans. Cats scratch and attack their owners. After all, they are animals. I don't expect good behavior from them all the time. Depending on your taste, they can be best friends. I don't really like dogs. They smell.

That's why I don't like dogs, and they slobber... and they eat disgusting things - yeah, cat will too, but not as often...

Theoretically, cats can't do much things that dogs can do. Can't play with the frisbee, not a good guard of home, or so.. But, being best friend? Why not? :3 I love my cat, my cat loves me, hence we are the best friend!

Cats are very moody animals & many cats attact their owners how will you know your cat loves you???

Because we are best friend, so I know him well! ~lol, a circular reasoning Well, he never attacked me. And once, if he accidentally scratched me, he would pulled his ears back, means he is being scared and felt guilty And so many things happened back then so I could tell!

I have to say, cats are very affectionate and loving - and dogs have been known to attack humans far more than cats. Personally, I think any pet can be a best friend, so long as you treat them with love and care and consider their needs as important as your own :)

sure it can be, why not? cats are precocious and sometimes shy and they hiss too much

I have 10 cats at the moment. But, my very best buddy is Sandy. He is now 10 years old. He came before all of the others and I have developed a very strong emotional bond with him. He always comes when I call him. I love to hold him and stroke him. When the food is low, I make sure that Sandy always gets some. Although I love all of my cats, the bond I have with Sandy is special.

I don't think so. Cats don't care about its master unlike dogs. Dog is the only one deserving to be man's bestfriend.

who are selfish and want something in return will h ave dogs as their best friends,because they expect something back or in return to what they are doing to the pet dog.After sometime they will leave it when they can not manage it.Cats are the best friends,they d o help y not ,they canbe good friends or best friends.Cat or Dog or any pet animal it depends on the pet owners taste and interest,nothing much to be compared regarding this thing.
