The actions of om puri and kiran bedi has not gone down well with The MP's of our country. In my view kiran bedi and om puri were wrong in their actions but at the same time our MP's are not so clean that they are taking a case against them. So what do you think? Share your views.

Hello Anil, Welcome to myLot! Actually, "such kadwa hota hai" or "truth is bitter." The bitterness of the truth brought forward by Kiran Bedi and Om Puri is not digestible to our ministers and parliament members. What wrong Om Puri said? He just asked why why not ministers be asked about their qualifications like a peon in our country? Is this a wrong demand? Should a minister not be a better person than a peon? Kiran Bedi's past is extremely glorious. She has done many reforms in Police Department. She changed the whole system of Tihad Jail. Now she is standing by the side of Anna Hajare in his fight for truth, she is also a target of ministers as they are totally worthless and selfish. Ministers are afraid of truth because they have done so many illegal acts, crimes, frauds, conspiracies to reach that post they are maintaining. They cannot lose their "Kursi" or post just for the sake of truth. For ministers, words like justice, truth, loyalty, etc. have no meaning and if someone reminds them about these words, they became anxious and upset which is why they decide to put a case on people like Kiran Bedi and Om Puri. In this way they can suppress their voice easily... Further more, per our constitutional right there is freedom to speak, freedom to express our ideas/opinions...

I am one hundred per cent in agreement with you nishant. Our so called elected representatives are using the constitutional privilege to gag the voters who elected them. They are forgetting that there have been acrimonious debates inside parliament where worse comments were hurled at each other. They deserve all the types of comments Om Puri and Kiran Bedi made. The so called MPs are feeling the pinch because they were made in the open. There are millions of voices like ours saying the same things in their own private exchanges. Being on the defensive the parliamentarians have started attacks on the supporters of Anna, because they have a breather,eh!

Yes, of course, exactly! Government needs time to device a plan to deceive us in some way or other...They have already started objection over the point of "Right to recall" of Anna Hazare. They are definitely making a plan... Thanks hanuma for being in agreement with me. You have rightly pointed out that this is the voice of nation. Whatever is going on in media that is paper activities to show the destructive powers, suppressing powers of ministers. Why can't they not be so aggressive in their actions. You are correct that point is the statements were "public statements" openly voiced in public. But I think no one was pointed with name or anything...

ya they should be booked under privilege act otherwise what would be the difference between them and dog barking in street.they cant use public platform to abuse or rather verbally abuse the elected representative of the county.we knoe that our mps are useless but there are many decent ways of showing frustations

Hello whitehackernew. ELECTED REPRESENTATIVEs.? All such MPs entered the Parliament with hardly any acceptable popular vote. Statistics show there is substantial vote bank who have expressed their dislike and rejected them. Cannot they have any say at all. If they have to remain silent and live like slaves to arrogant elected MPs who came with the backing of political parties - not on their own merits (demerits are hidden behind the party). What you said was that frustated people bark like dogs. What are the MPs doing inside the parliament? Were those debates decent in your view? It is high time there are electoral reforms to give enough strength to the voters (non-voters as well) silently suffering under this type of democracy.

Dear Anil! I really fail to understand what exactly Om Puri said against these leaders! Because other day while giving the News about this the News reader was saying that Om Puri said some objectionable sentences against the Ministers which can't be quoted on the Channel! That means he must have said something more than just asking about the minimum qualifications to become a Minister or MP! can some one throw some light on this matter? !!! Regarding Kiran Bedi, she expressed her views the way the ministers they act, I find there is nothing wrong in it! Anyway since now she refuses to apologize let us how the things will take turn! Thanks !!!!

I think that the govt did a lot of things. If they really want to take any action on Om puri and Kiren bedi then an action must be taken against the congress MP from ludhiana, who said that Anna Hazare is corrupt from top to bottom. They changed their words in a few days (MP's) but I am glad that Kiren bedi has refused to ask sorry....I think that the govt should surrender
