I have not been sleeping with anyone for some time...Well, believe it or not, there's an official name for the fear of the terrifying world of singledom: ANUPTAPHOBIA. But what is it about the single life that makes some people run frantically from one relationship to the next, or worse, believe that a bad relationship is better than none at all. But what about a bed companion especially in the chilly climes of rainy season or winter perhaps. Some singlephobics even report not being able to sleep if their partner's away for the night. Consider the advantages like no snoring or heavy breathing. However there's no cuddle at night. Then maybe get my cuddle elsewhere like friends, nieces or my dog. I always love the security squeeze once in awhile. Scientific research even shows that hugs have health benefits such as reducing blood pressure and alleviating stress. Scary stuff being single ha.. Anyway, as for me a lot of people wonders what's wrong with me. There's nothing worse than someone in a relationship asking you why you're still single. It makes me feel inferior and judged. Same old question on a daily basis why am i still single? A lot of times it requires me to come up with some sort of plausible answer and scan my brain for a suitable response, like my old insecurities(too fat?)not anymore...pop up to say hello. And before i know it im apologising and promising to try harder next time.
