I had the opportunity to hang out with my friends just now. Being a person who does not really good in drinking alcohol, I really enjoyed myself seeing them enjoying their beer and so on. I could see their behaviour slowly changes when they were slowly getting drunk. The ladies who are normally very quiet during office hour becoming very talkative and so on. The guys were becoming very naughty and so on. :-) They tried to persuade me to join in the drinking session but I was able to decline it nicely. As for me I still enjoy myself by having my tea, coffee and non-alcoholic drinks while spending my wonderful time with them. Can you still hang out with your friends eventhough you know that they will eventually getting drunk and you are not? What is your opinion about this?

definitely. if they are real friends they would understand that you're just that type of person who doesn't drink. i have a guy friend and a girl friend who are like that. and one sober friend comes in handy when everyone else had too much to drink, we all know that.

Me and my friends drink well so I don't think we have a problem in this. All of us drink but we ladies get tipsy earlier than the guys. I seem to be talkative too and so does all my friends haha. We take out all the talks from ages back and I have no idea the next morning what I blabbered about.

I think I can be around these kind of people to a point. As you said it was an office crew of yours so I think it would be nice to go out and let lose a little bit. But sometime being around people that get drunk all the time can be a bit annoying. My boyfriend enjoys drinking and so does his aunt and uncle. My boyfriend remains the same but you can see how ridiculous and stupid his and and uncle get when they are drunk. Sometimes it is like wow I need to video you because you are just too funny right now!

Yes, drinking sessions are bonding sessions with my buddies. This is a great way to express out all our inhibitions and remove the stress from everyday life. I do still hang out with my drinking buddies even though I know that I will be the one who will clean up their mess after wards. I know that they will do the same for me when I am the one drunk.
