Why do you think we let trivial things distract us from what really matters?

There are so many things out there that we can pursue or spend a large amount of time on. Why do you think that we let trivial things distract us? There's a place and time for things. But there is a balance. How do you think we can keep such a balance?

In many ways I think that many of us do at least one or two times in the past. There are just a lot of times where the most trivial things in the world is going to really just push us around. There are a lot of things in the world, a lot of rather great things that we should focus on, but there are a lot of times where humans get attracted by the most trivial and shallow things. I really think that there is a time and place for anything. However there are a lot of times where we are not keeping our eyes on the prize all that much. We are going to really get rather distracted and rather shifted from it. I do agree that we need to keep a balance as well. The best way is that we do what we need to do first and then go from there. Prioritizing is important.

I agree wholeheartedly that prioritizing is a very important key in focusing on what's important. There are literally hundreds of distractions. If we keep important things first we will avoid a lot of pain.
