Have you ever fallen in love with someone whom you...

Have you tried being friends with someone online, haven't met in person yet and suddenly developed a mutual feeling with each other. It could be someone whom you met at any site or could be here at mylot. I am always amazed by beautiful relationships established by people who meet online because there's so much that's needed to be done to let it work. From my personal experience, I have met and developed friendships here at mylot but it never came to the point of falling in love with someone here online --- because I was always my husband's number 1 fan! What about you, share your thoughts? Do you ever feel falling in love with someone online or you prefer to fall in love with someone whom you have met in person than the one whom you just met online?

Yes it has happened to me. It happens to all. we are social animals and we feel a need to be accepted. I have felt many times drawn towards my online female friends. I have the chance to talk to them on phone. I have fantasised. But i always knew that it was all infatuation. But its a wonderful feel though

Thank you for sharing this, from a men's point of view. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts. And yes, I do understand your feelings, as human as we are. Someday, she will eventually come to your life. I tell you.

I prefer to fall in love someone whom I have met in person. The internet is a large network with all sort of people. We can never truly know one person through online as there is no way to tell they are lying or just playing with us. In one example, let's say I fall in love with this person online. We chat and exchanging information about each other's life everyday. I thought I would be developing a relationship with this person and eventually fall in love. When the time we come to meet each other only to realize this is not the person I've met through as compare the one I know through online, they are entirely different people which can be in term of personality, looks, bad habits, behaviors and etc. There's also risk in falling in love online as that person could be cheating on us and we never know. As a conclusion, I would like to emphasize that it is best to have a face to face with a person that we want to fall in love, that way we can have a clearer picture of who this person is, rather than we just guess through the words they used online.

I haven't fallen in love with anyone online before.I do think and see a lot of relationships that are established online. For me personally I feel that there is more to getting to know a person than with what's involved online. That's just me personally. There can be more deceit and secrets with relationships online and it can be hard to trust others this way. So if I weren't already married and were looking to find someone I wouldn't do it online.

I have ever fell in love with my female net friend. But before I fell in deep love with her, we meet each other. Sometimes, strong feeling of appropriation could pull out the two out of the virtual world. In my opinion, love can happen everywhere, even on the internet. But as to marry, I think you two will agree on a date when facing that situation.

Ah falling in love in online. I just don't believe it. How could you fall in love online when you know that the Internet is an avenue for escape, it's a virtual world where one could be whatever he wants and claims to be.

I think that love is free for all. Falling in love is so easy because we are beings designed to crave and receive love. On the other hand I believe that relationships are personal and before you go into a relationship you must get a feel and understand the person. Falling in love and diving into a relationship are entirely different things.

i have never experienced falling in love with someone online. during my college days, my classmates and friends are fond of chatting, meeting foreigners online, and a lot of them even married to a foreign man. but i could never imagine myself with it, for how could i fall in love with someone i don't even meet in person? i am glad though that my fate to marriage life is different from them.

Yes, oh my goodness, I am planning to marry someone who I have met online and haven't actually met in person yet. I talk to him everyday on Skype, and we love each other very much. He lives in California and I live in New Jersey. I didn't choose to date someone who I do not know in person, however, he treats me so well, and we match up so perfectly, I could not imagine ever replacing him with someone else, even if they lived closer. He is the person I see myself spending my lifetime with, and it can't be any other way. At this point we are hoping to get married in two years or so, once we have enough money to live alone. Then, I want to have children in ten years or so.

Sometimes social networking site like Facebook , Twitter, myLot and other are only some way of meeting new people. You will befriend to them and sometimes if you take it seriously, love will then begin. I've been a member of diferrent social sites but never experienced to fell someone I never met.
