Playing with Guardian Angel

My baby is two months old now. There were times that she would smile or laugh out of nothing at all. Even when she's asleep, she would suddenly smile. The oldies here at home and even her pediatrician said that her Guardian Angel could have been playing with her. I also believe in that saying, in fact it makes me feel good because i know that an angel is watching my little one. How about you myloters, do you believe in this too?

Yes, I heard this myth as well. When a baby smiles it is supposed to be playing with a guardian angel. I guess babies are blessed this way.

Congrats on your new baby!...yes I did love to watch my babies when they were asleep and smile and some times a little giggle as well! it made me wonder! I believe we all have our special Angel [ even before we are born]and that Angel is going to be with us for ever.

I so believe in that, too as I also believe in guardian angels. There were times when accidents could have happened with me but somehow I manage to to come out of that incident unharmed, this is why I really believe guardian angels exist.

When my grandson was a baby I was sure that his great and great great grandmothers were visiting him. They had passed years before but I feel they are his guardian angels. My daughter and I would notice him looking off somewhere and acting as if someone was there entertaining him.

I personally do believe that children (and pets, too) see angels, or ghosts. Children have more of an open mind about seeing ghosts because they are too young to build an opinion on whether or not ghosts are real. Many children have imaginary friends, and I think that these imagainary friends are actually ghosts, or guardian angels.

I had never heard of this or thought of it that way. But yes I have seen kids smile all of a sudden while they are sleeping and what you said might have some truth in it too

Hi jasmin_niza! That is indeed a common belief among elders about babies smiling suddenly even when no one is playing with them. I've also seen my nieces and nephews smile and laugh when they were alone and still babies. I want to believe that they are really playing with their guardian angels because it would really be nice to know that there are such good beings taking care of the babies. If I will have my own baby I wish she will have her own guardian angel, too.

Hello Jasmin, Time is running really fast, your baby is two months old now, I am so happy to hear about her. My love and hugs to your angel. Infants are smiling and crying in their sleep and it is quite natural. In every place old people have some definitions on this act. I think they are dreaming something good and laughing on the same (lol). Anyway it is really good to watch the infant when she/he is smiling innocently.

my nephew just fell from her bed just a while a go....... she just cried and smile after a few minutes. i guess angels are always there... she didnt even suffer from minor injuries.. to think that the bed is higher from the floor. my nephew is just 7 months old... and i felt so nervous about the incident.....
