What kind of work do you take home?

There are times when you can't finish all you need to do in your day job/part time job, like presentations, papers or designs. Do you ever take the extra effort to finish or continue them at home? If so, what kind of work do you do this for?

For most time I can get my work done during the office hours. But if I could not finish it in the office, I choose the reading and paper work like doing some work related reading and writing documents to take home, because those things are easier to deal with out of office.

Hi harck! I rarely bring home unfinished work. I like to be relaxed at home. And I've got school assignments, reports and papers to write so I don't have the extra time for work work. Sometimes I do bring some unfinished documents (like proposals or reports or something like that) which I need to email to my boss. But only those that just need to be looked at one last time before I send it to my boss. That way it won't eat much time.

I take home work every now and then; mostly texts to review and things that I can print out and read on the subway on the way home. I try to avoid things that involve teamwork, so that I don't have to update my co-workers by e-mail about their status; also, moving work from one computer to another with a different OS or version of the respective application can be a pain.
