My stomach doesn't feel good. I think coffee is the reason.

I usually drink 3-6cups of coffee everyday since I'm kind of addicted to coffee. But lately I felt this kind of feeling that is something new to my stomach that when I eat something I feel like my stomach is moving(maybe air or what no kidding). So I started to stop drinking coffee for around 4 days. My stomach seems fine now that I didn't drink coffee. Well, I will still drink coffee probably next week. What ever that was I think coffee is the reason.

I have read somewhere one time that excessive drinking of coffee can cause a lot of trouble like panic attacks, irregular heartbeat, sleep deprivation, prolonged depression, sleep disorders, and as you just mentioned - continuous stomach pain. Three to six cups a day is too much I guess, and it will lead you to these problems. I think one cup of coffee is fine and will help you energize for the rest of the day.

I am glad you understood what I mean. And besides, too much of this stuff, especially if you prefer it strong, will lead you to having ulcer that will damage your intestine.

If you add a bunch of other stuff to your coffee this could be your problem. I love coffee but I don't like it black so whenever I get coffee it's sweet and sugary and sometimes my stomach really disagrees with it so I try not to drink any for a little while so my stomach gets the chance to recover.

Hi, Jacruz25. Yes, I also believe that drinking too much of coffee contributed to your stomach pain. From now on, try to limit the amount of coffee that you usually will drink. You can always substitute coffee for a cup of Ovaltine. This is very healthy and delicious too.

hello, Yes, maybe the coffee is the reason of that. You can also visit your doctor for prescription. So, do you stop now drinking coffee? well it is really difficult most especially it is your addiction.

3-6 cups oh yeah you are addicted , I dont like coffee so much because of the bitterness of it I only drink it when I'm at work and dont want to fall asleep it keeps me awake I dont know how some people can drink so much of it, well I guess everyone is different. Maybe you should lessen the amount you drink perhaps you should go down to 1 cup a day.

I love drinking coffee before however I recently developed a Gastritis so I need to stop drinking coffee. I drink around 2-3 mugs of coffee in one shift. But what happened is my stomach feels full and I'm always burping. Sometimes my stomach hurts already and it is hard to breathe. My doctor said that it was probably heart burn, so I did stop drinking a lot of coffee and even milk.
