Relationships over being lonely?

I have met some individuals that would rather be in a bad relationship over being alone. I personally used to be this way when I was younger. However, getting hurt really did get old to me. I am now content either way and believe it has helped me in a lot of ways mentally. Has anyone else been like that and wanted to change or did change?

I can't say as I blame you. Negative people can really drag me down. I try to be stay in a good mood, and sometimes when I am around the wrong people it makes it very difficult.
