So we all have our plans, our dreams and we are set out to have the future we want now and is putting so much effort in the future now. At this moment, where is your focus? Whatare you eyeing on at the moment and why? My brother is focused on one thing at the moment.. he'd like to have a car and is planning to buy them soon as possible. My focus right now is to start saving up as much as i can. times is getting hard and i plan to live a comfortable life, of course and that only meant i need to focus on my goal to save as much as i can.

For the last few months I have been focusing on getting my disabled 4 year old son ready to start school. This morning is his first day there so I hope he is getting on really well. I am trying to save up for my overseas trip in 2012. I would like to combine a bit of term time with the Easter school holidays. I hope to be able to afford to buy some double glazed windows. I have a car and maintaining it costs rather a lot. Good luck with your saving and I hope your brother will soon be able afford a car.

thank you maximax. How is everything going with your son? I sure hope he gets ready in time for the school. =) Just keep on saving, little by little we'd soon realize we already have enough for what we are saving for! =)

Hi chiyosan! Saving and earning extra money is one of my goals right now. But my major focus is finishing my two subjects for this semester especially the undergraduate subject I took. This undergrad subject is very demanding as it requires us to write so many types of articles so I have to really give it focus and concentration to be able to pass it. I also have to give all of my creative juices to all of what we are writing because my professor said she will submit it to editors that she know of in newspapers and magazines. It will not only be my school accomplishment but my personal accomplishments as well if I am really able to publish one article.

oh wow that is good to hear! you have got to finish your studies, even though call centers would be accepting undergrads, i'd say it is very important that you have a degree... i think people who does have a degree will have better chancesof finding the best job they wanted, and be promoted. most corporations still prefer college grads. =) goodluck to you!

We also got a lot of dreams and we would like to take one step at a time. Because before we tried to jump to everything all at once and we ended up failing. This time we will start first with paying all the outstanding debts and saving up. Even little by little in a month, could really help to build the funds. Second, is to start up a business. We are still on the thinking stage for this so no rush. It is difficult if you will be overwhelmed with a lot of things coZ it would be hard to focus on a goal.

well, yes you are right. most often when we do everything at once, we lose all those that we planned before doing them all at the same time lets us end up doing nothing or finishing nothing at all.

i don't actually have dreams right now. i said in one post, dreams are for young ones only. and now that i am, shall we say aged person, i left my dreams with my kids. and left me with hopes. hopes that their dreams will come true, and help them reach their dreams and support them to the best that i can. focus? yes, my children's education, that's all i can say now.

Just don't lose hope, never think its hopeless and well yes, sometimes we get frustrated seeing we have not advanced in our career, and our job does not give us the same satisfaction as it used to... i think 3 years is not very long.. but then since you feel you need to try out something different, i guess you should start looking for one, and sending out your resumes on online job hunting sites, and or getting the hr email addresses of the companies you would like to try and submit your resume via email. i remember i was also really tired of the work i had before now, i sent an application online and i actually forgot about it... 3 months after they called me and viola! i got accepted and moved the next month. God's timing is always perfect. but we also have to make it happen. =) Goodluck on your search marker.

My goal is to accomplish relocation to another city where I'd really like to live at. I been extremely depressed and disappointed upon my failed relocation attempt back in June. I may try to relocate again very soon although I would be doing it on very little money; I would have to stay in the lowest cost motel. I fear that I may end up in the same small city I lived in for 31 years. My son wants to go back there at least for a time. We'd probably have to sign a 1 years lease. I get the sinking feeling that my dreams are shattered. My dream is to move to a city that has a decent sized downtown and plenty of discovering to do. If I don't try my dream soon I know my dream will be long awaiting me.

I wish you all the best dataminer. I am sure you would be able to pull it through. Just always try to go find some great place where you can move soon, plan for it and set a time for your move. Lastly, pray for God's guidance and that he may help you make the move possible asap.

Well my focus right now is to just be balanced in myself. I realize that my biggest obstacle in everything that I try is always myself. If I can learn to master and overcome my own weaknesses then anything else will be possible so that is what I am aiming for right now.
