I am so happy I am here in Singapore now. i have been here for almost 2 weeks. i have been to sentosa, paya lebar, i stay in admiralty station, i went to Universal Studios... i am now here in orchard. What are the other places I can go here in Singapore! please suggest... also the not so expensive ones too... thank you guys!!

While there, try two things not found in the Philippines:
Ride the cable car from, or to, Sentoza Island.
Ride the subway from end to end; it goes above ground at the tips.

thank you for the response. well we do have MRT in the Philippines as well. but the aircondition's coolness is not comparable to that of singapore. and the MRT stations from each stops are really nice. The precautions for the safety of the people is really nice. thank you and enjoy the holoween.

Singapore is a really nice place to be, but if you do not want to get less expensive stuff, you should really get out of the town area and go to the urban areas. Believe me, i am a Singaporean myself. i am pretty sure paya lebar is a place where things are rather cheap. i pass by there everyday while coming home from school. I live near paya lebar XD Anyway, another place i can recommend is "bugis". Things there are cheap and authentic. The quality of their products are also not that bad, well most of them at least. i dunno whether you have heard of that place, but if you take the Mass Rapid Transport "MRT" it is one of the stops on the East-West line also known as green line. check the MRT maps, it should be listed on the green line. That's all i have for your question, hope you enjoy your stay here :D

Hello there KiblyKat, thank you for the advice on how to travel singapore in a less expensive way. Yes I have been to those places in Peya Lebar and Bugis. I stayed in Admiralty MRT station just near there though but far from the places you have suggested. Anyway, I really had a great time there!
Hello binggaling, yes it is possible to use once card that will let you travel using the MRT for one whole day and everyday as long as your card has a top up or credit.

I am planning to visit Singapore one day. So far my priority is to have my own home to lived in. And start living without thinking for the payment of rents and etc. I hope you can provide more stories about your stay in Singapore. My friends told e that the city is so clean. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Home have you checked the Singapore zoo yet, it's one of their greatest attractions and if the only zoo that doesn't stink, it's very clean and the animals that were treated very well. The first food you have to try in Singapore are their chili prawns. Singapore zoo also have a night safari. Also try their street Foods.

Pandan chicken will be the best alternative Singaporean meal I can suggest it's also tasty and not spicy. They also have a dessert similar to halohalo, and it's delicious.

Singapore is really a nice place to go because it is beautiful and attractive.I have a friend who work in Singapore and she told me that it is good but just sometimes she is a little missing home.Wish you have a nice trip and go have more look as possible as you can.

Hello there! thank you for the response. It is really nice visiting there! though it is really expensive and you should really have a friend waiting for you at your day one of your visit there. Well during my 5 week stay there, I haven't missed Philippines though. Hahahaha. I was really amazed going to places there which are mostly so clean, awe the tall buildings there and the great interior of some homes that I have visited. a really nice place to go. I would really recommend you go there too.

I am really pleased that you are enjoying your time in lovely Singapore. I have been there three times and love it there. I suggest you might like to take a bus over to the National Park. Over there there are beautiful trails and monkeys to see. I liked going to see famous Raffles Hotel. Orchard Road is fantastic for shopping. I hope that you will continue to have a wonderful time.

I haven't been to Singapore yet, but I have a good impression to this country. Although it is a small country, but it is famous for many aspects, such as the clean environment. And it is also a famous and popular tourism place.

A friend of mine has been there just the other week and he told me there's no spectacular place to see since it just look like makati except maybe the cleanliness that's very noticeable. He said, if you really want to enjoy your stay then you can cross to malaysia since that's where the sights are but according to him you should only go there if you're with someone whose familiar with the place.

I am glad to know that you are on vacation and travelling. As per my knowledge Singapore is one of the wonderful place to visit and hope you are enjoying there.
