Yesterday was one of worst days in ice hockey history! Plane Yak-42 crashed soon after takeoff. In this tragic crash 43 of 45 people on board where killed - whole KHL league ice hockey team Lokomotiv. Among those who where found dead was one of best defensive players from Latvia - Karlis Skrastinš. it is too hard to image how must awesome ice hockey players from Russia, Latvia, Czech republic, Slovenia and other countries is now dead! It is full team which played in KHL league play-offs last year and they where named among possible finalists this year too. My Condolences go out to killed players families. R.I.P. Lokomotiv

I read about this in an email from the Flyers. It is always sad to see any plane crash that kills so many people. This was especially sad to me because there was such great talent aboard!! I hope they figure out what went wrong so that they can prevent it from happening again. I never want to have to hear about another hockey team being killed in such an accident!!

The main problem in Russia is that they are trying to prevent problems only after such a horrible accidents! :(

from what I read, they were having a difficult time figuring out what actually went wrong.

90% fault on pilots, the rest 10% on plane, that whats Russia experts are saying right now.
