Its human to err. We are mere mortals who keep committing mistakes in our lives. All mistakes come under one of the above classification.Tell me which of the above wrong is the worst type and which you dread committing and which hurts your conscience the most.

This is kind of a loaded question, I think. I am inclined to believe that they are all just about equally wrong. Which is worst? They are all wrong. However, something can be morally wrong and not exactly legally wrong. Something can be ethically wrong without it being illegal also. For instance, to me .. abortion is morally wrong and also ethically wrong, but it is not legally wrong. It's only wrong for me, it might not be wrong for you or anyone else, so for me it would be the same as murder which is legally wrong. For me, it is morally and ethically wrong to assist in killing of an unborn child, fetus, or whatever name one wants to put to the products of conception. It may not be wrong for anyone else, but it is wrong for me. I think all of us have something that we find we find equally wrong. There is no right or wrong answer for this question, because it is all dependent on what our value systems are. This discussion should make us look deep inside ourselves. Thank you for this. Even though I have my own beliefs about things, I don't judge people who have their own beliefs, anymore than I would want to be judged for mine.

"Even though I have my own beliefs about things, I don't judge people who have their own beliefs, anymore than I would want to be judged for mine." PointlessQuestions That was very well said. We need to respect other beliefs but not be afraid to disagree with others in a calm and rational way

Exactly right Stary1. We can agree to disagree rather than make unfair judgments about people... the only ones we should be judging are ourselves.

It depends upon what concerns you the most;your society; your government or God..

A tricky situation between these three. I think that the illegal kind is rather something that really affects the here and the now. Not that the other two are much better but you're pretty much playing with some real life fire trying to go against the laws. Granted, we do sometimes tend to get a tricky little situation when we try not to do an illegal wrong but in our attempts to do so, we commit an ethical or a moral wrong. When you really think about, we're doomed no matter what we do. There needs to be some kind of balance achieved to satisfy all three things, but the illegal wrong has the only thing that can lead to tangible punishment in the foreseeable future. The other two is dependent upon your belief systems and what you perceive to be wrong, but the illegal wrong is universe across the board. So that is the worst of the three.

All wrongs in my opinion are morally wrong to some degree or another. They all hurt us and cause karma. Ethics and morals are closer together because potentially a law could be immoral.
