I am not sure but think my ex sister in law has gotten involved with a supposed to be christian cult of some kind. I know this woman she wasn't one to follow something that wasn't Gods word. She married this guy many years ago and got involved in something that isn't the true word of God. So I am asking that all of you please that believe in God to pray for her. She is acting stranger then I have ever heard her act. She has given up everything she has ever believed in.

I'll pray free_man, but do you mind me asking what it is that she is doing that makes you think she is in a cult? You can PM me the info if you don't want to share here. The reason I asked is because my sister thinks I am in a cult like religion because I turned away from what we grew up with.

She has always had a lot of money well educated and worked for material things. She claims she is broke now and wouldn't even cremate her favorite brother. She is married to a man very well off and now she is claiming she is out of money don't even know if she has enough money to get back home from her vacation. I turned away from the religion I was brought up with too. But that is because I found a real teacher of Gods word. Knew when I was in the other church there had to be more to Gods word then I was being taught. And this man teaches the truth about Gods word. http://www.shepherdschapel.com/index.htm

I think that you should not just pray for her. You need to talk to her. What if she isn't in a cult? You maybe jumping to conclusions that don't exist. I will pray for her anyway. Best Wishes!

Hi Sswallace. I can't get her on the phone or email. She sends me junk stuff in the email. I have seen things going on in her life that isn't normal and those people she trusted said the same thing that she sounds like she is in a cult. Thank you for your prayers though.

Free_man..my prayers are with you and your ex-sister in law. Help her be back in God's embrace by having a fellowship with her closest friends and family that are with God's words. Help her to open up by telling these persons what is happening and how it happened by telling the truth and the persons she is with in the fellowhip should not judge her. I don't know if you are familiar with this book but I think this will help her it is called "The Purpose Driven Life" by Rick Warren. Give her a copy of this book and another copy for the person closest to her; together they shall read this book and be companions in the journey. I pray that this suggestion would help. God Bless you and your family.
