Chaos for the Masses

I have been "pagan" for well over 20 years, but recently I discovered that I hadn't even really found my true path yet.. until I met someone who introduced me to Chaos. Chaos is much misunderstood, even in the pagan community. Most people see it as causing destruction, or being a negative thing all around. But my perspective on Chaos comes from its origins. To me, Chaos is the fundamentally pure energy of Creation itself, and through chaos, one can create whatever one wishes. The determining factor is the user's intent. My question for all of you is this: How do you view Chaos, and why? Have you ever studied it or worked with it? What was your experience?
