Tentative schedule for the out of town job is now set.

It's looking like we'll be heading out on the 25th, once we're caught up with all of our other work.
Just working out some kinks in our plans, and hoping to clear up that old stupid job that's giving us nothing but trouble, still and it's getting quite annoying.
I'm looking forward to going out of the city, it should be a less stressful job.
Once I know for sure, then I'll be more ready for it.

Well, if your old job isn't doing you any good, it's just right to look for another one that pays better. I was working for a BPO company that pays the standard wage but requires you to do overtime without extra pay. If you don't comply, you're going to be fired. Guess what I did?

And I bet you no longer had days when you would be on. Still it is better to be doing something that you feel is worthwhile even if you don't make quite as much money. It is often a matter of deciding where your line is that you won't cross. For you it was having to work with no pay. So now you are free to work somewhere else where you will get pay.
