Old televison

I'm sitting here watching "Highway patrol" from the 50s or 60s. As I watch these shows, I think about what it was like then compared to what it is now. I happen to like these shows, but I cannot see them doing the same type of shows now. We are too violent. what do you think?

There are some old shows that look so innocent and outdated now that I just can´t watch them. I loved Bewitched and I still love her nose, but I cannot accept the submision she has to a very stupid husband. As for Bonanza and other shows like that, good people were too good for my taste. I think good ols movies age better that TV shows.

Yes I agree....movies do age better than TV shows although there are a few tv shows that I happen to like no matter how old they get like the original Hawaii 5-0.

I like older shows also and really miss the old comedies and westerns. My favorite were the game shows where Betty White was always so entertaining. One of my favorites starred her husband.
