Bell Bottoms Rant

Am I the only one? Ever since I was little I've always loved bell bottom jeans. The old seventies/sixties movies my dad and I used to watch together, I seemingly fell in love with the style. It probably didn't help that I listened to Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, and others from that time when I was growing up. However, I was born in the wrong decade, 1987. I do realize there are boot cut and flared jeans, but they are nothing like bell bottoms. It seems unless you are willing to pay a few hundred bucks or just really luck out at a vintage resale shop that you can come across these bad boys. I was just wondering if I really am the only one that likes bell bottom jeans? And if I'm not why aren't people trying to bring them back? I guess you could say I got bell bottom blues...lol

I was born in 1995 but I do remember having some my mom gave me and they were the best! I hate the jeans girls/boys wear this days. Girls wear them too tight and boy jeans are just plain boring. Since little I've always loved those old jeans no idea why they changed them to this new uninteresting jeans.

I'm glad i'm not the only one. Yeah the jeans that are mostly sold now are too tight or they just don't seem very flattering.

Oh! Fashion is some kind of an in roll thing. They do come back. My sister loves bell bottom. For the latest fashion trends why not try to drop by at LIFO.com.

Being someone who was born in the 60s, and remembers the Bell bottom jeans, and many of the 70s style clothing, I do remember wearing these, and personally this was not a style I was fond of. But I am sure if you watch you might get lucky and find some of these you can afford, or wait long enough and many of the styles do come back around again.

Everything comes back eventually! I remember them well. You couldn't walk quietly at all. Flap, flap, flap! They only look good while you are standing still. Not for windy days either!
