What charity work have you been involved in lately?

What charity work have you all been involved in lately? For me, I'm not sure if I can call this as charity but I have been patronizing a massage clinic run by blind people. I have been availing of their services for years now and it makes me feel that I am helping out these people have a livelihood or a source of income. They actually offer a mixture of swedish and siatsu massage. An hour of service not only relaxes their customers but also ensures these guys will have a stable source of income for themselves and their families. Thus, making them productive members of society. This also keeps them from begging for money in the streets. I am also planning to support their advertising needs by posting an advertisement in theior behalf in 2 of the forums that I am a member of. I am hoping that also goes a long way. How about you fellow mylot members? Anyone here who share the same activity or been doing some sort of charity work lately?

You are doing excellent there. I do participate in some of the charity acitivities of the Community Center of the community I am living in. And, I also from, time to time, like to make donations to international organizations helping people in countries around the world who are in need, e.g. World Vision, Red Cross.

well, honestly, i have not been to any of charity work. not in those big times, though... i have, however with my friends from the bible study, we do plan to do one before the year ends. hopefully we'd have that plan push through. =)

I did and it was feeding of one of barangay here in Cebu that has been burned here in Barangay Careta.
