As we know that global warming is increasing daily. What we can do for it? Should we wait for government agencies that they would do something for it? No , there are alot of thing that we can do in our daily life to go green, like - take a shower of 3-5 minutes instead of 20 minutes -can use a bucket instead of a pipe to wash our car -use the left water of bath tub in garden -use natural light at the day time -switch off or pluged out(if possible) of electric items -go by foot or by cycle to short distances and for long distances try to use public transport. -while go for shopping can take a bio-digradable bag from home. Do you follow these in your daily life or you have another ideas. Let's share them and apply them in our life

I know that we can do a lot things rather than these. Here I just mention a few things because of less space. The things that I mention here is important because no one want to change his lifestyle and these things work without changing their lifestyle much. As I say that use of bucket to wash your car instead oe pipe, it saves a lot of water because when you use bucket you can wash your car in three to five buckets easily but when you use pipe you waste a lot of water and it works because people can't stfp washing their cars. There are also many other simple things by which we can save a lot of water. We can't also forget to plant the trees.

I know that awareness is necessary to be spreaded to all the peoples. But are we doing about that? You know that there are several NGOs in India which works for environment. I am also a member of a NGO named HARYALI. We go to the villages and try to make them understand about pollution its effect on human bieng, on enviyonment and also we tell them about global warming that what global warming is, what's its effect and also many other things.

Why do we take too much food in our plate that we can't eat the whole food. If because of some reson there's left some food in place we shouldn't throw it anywhere.

I believe that it really is the little things that make all the difference in our lives, and if we managed to change small things about our own lives then we would be able to make a big difference to the world as a whole. I always travel by bus if I am on a bus route, because it means that I don't have to pollute the air. In addition to this, if I could complete a trip in less than half an hour on foot, I will usually take this option now rather than going in the car because it's better for the environment and also better for ourselves as it means that we're having more exercise than we might have done in the past.

Yes, that's what about I wanna make people understand that if we just make a little change in our lifestyle and adopt these things in our daily life, it will work a lot for enviornment. And to do these things we need not to make any effort. These are so simple

Start little for long term continuality - Better start little to encourage long term commitment.
I always think starting with something simple and not too distruptive to daily life routine can really encourage self to do things that help the environment , like for example do not litter, switch electric stuffs that are not in used to save environment, do not waste water and recycle as much as possible , like those plastic bottle cans and such.

There are many simple thing that helps to save water without affactimg the daily routine. Always keep two dustbin in your home, one for bio degradable things (like paper, left over food , and kitchen waste), another one for non bio-digradable.

It's true.We don't really need to wait for our government to take actions. There are little things we can do to help save our environment. Our government is now promoting the segregation and recycling of waste like cans, plastics and papers.I'm doing it myself now and sell it for extra income. We should avoid burning as much as possible. We also need to plant more trees to decrease pollution and flooding. We can also limit the use of tissue papers, instead use the recyclable towels. This way we can limit cutting down of trees for the production of these disposable items. We are also developing the habit of unplugging appliances and electronics when not in use to save energy.

Yah, we can reduce the use of tissue paper by using recycleable towels. We can also reduce the use of paper by using computer, we can use an ebook instead of a printed book, we can read epaper instead of traditional news paper but this is limited what about the people who don't have a computer or don't know that how to operate a computer. We can plant tree by which we can prevent soil erosion, can reduce the carbon level of atmosphere, trees also causes rain so we can plant trees in draught area.

i totally agree that we should not wait for the government agencies to act on the environmental problems that we are facing because as a citizen and as a living creature we are the ones who are directly affected by the effects of nature so let us all be active in preserving mother earth. recently, Philippines had experience the anger of filed garbage. houses and lives were destroyed because of the big file of garbage. so what can we do to stop another disaster as this is to segregate our garbage so that it would not be a huge file that would eat up lives. in this way also we have not only protected mother earth but also our fellow men. when i was a student we usually have this tree planting program in our place and near places. now i have seen the trees grow tall and thus they shade me from the extreme light of the sun. also during my college days we taught households how to segregate garbage and we made use of compost pits. there are certainly a lot of things we can do that has been mentioned by other mylotters. help stop pollution and save mother earth!

here in India also we have the tree planting programs held by NGOs(non governmental orgazations). These NGOs do many othes things in favour of environment. They organze trips to make understand the adverse effects of pollution and encourage them to plant trees. I am also a mamber of such a NGO named HARYALI(which english mean is greenary). We educate people of rural areas that how to dispose their garbaze, how to save water, what global warming is and what are its effacts on human and other spices.

I think that one big thing that we can do is drive a lot less and walk a lot more. There are many times where people just climb in their cars and drive a rather short distance. It might not seem much but if a couple thousand people drive a short distance in the same area, it can add up. It also satisfies the fact that we can get slightly more active. Therefore we win on all fronts. I just have to really shake my head at some of the people who drive when they really don't need to. Also recycling never did steer any one wrong. However, reputable recycling centers can be few and far between these days. There are some recycling centers that are friendly to the environment. But there are others that are just as worse and use as many reckless approaches as your average stereotypical corporation that harms the environment. Naturally the point is rather moot, given the fact that no one in power is going to force changes, but we can do what we can to hopefully slow down the process. I fear that the damage has been done.

Yes you are right if the people will drive less and walk more there are three advantages of it -prevent air pollution -become healthy and fit -and can also save some money which they spend on oil or gas. But the main foccus is to apply it in our daily life. Because nothing can't be done just by thinking.
