I have never supervised a workforce but I believe it is easier to supervise a very skilled workforce than an unskilled workforce. Does anyone have views on this and why.

I also don't have any experience supervising a workforce so I wouldn't know how it is. I'm guessing it's pretty hard because our workforce here seems multitasking all the time.

Multitasking is in-demand nowadays. Companies would pay anyone who can accomplish more than one task at once.

I'm afraid that today it would have to be three or four task's. The simple reason is that although there are so many unemployed companies are driven to provide services or products at ever decreasing prices.

Of course it is always easier to be a supervisor or manager for highly qualified or eager people then it is for those who are not. I am not a supervisor, and never wish to be but you can tell that it is much easier.
