Did the news of radiation from mobile affect your use of mobile??

Radiation from mobile is usually controlled in good mobile handsets. The only mobile phones which have radiation issues are the cheap Chinese models that do not use money on making the phones safe as that is the reason the company mobiles are more expensive. The radiations emitting from a mobile phone have controlled values that are not so harmful to humans and that has been tested and proven. There is a minor risk involved though with small children below the age of 5 but special attachment is provided by all mobile companies that can reduce even those so that they are harmless to even children. There are more radiation issues from the sun than the mobiles.

Hi Vikku, I think major percentage of people has the habit of ignoring such warnings. Day by day people are getting more addicted with the mobile phone and all are busy with their mobile even on travel on talking, sending texts, and using web. One I heard, while watching a debate, a participant in that debate said that there is only small radiation is coming from mobile which is not so harmful but using the mobile for long hours will definitely harm us. In nutshell over use of anything will harm us in its own way. Personally I am not depending much on my mobile and have receiving very less calls in it. At home and office I have land phone connection and using the same mostly. However, I never think about the radiation part while talking on mobile. Instead I enjoyed the conversation all the time.

When I was 10, this was the time that the first stories of radiation were in the press about mobile phones. This was the time that I was first wanting a new phone, and my parents wouldn't allow me to do so because of the fact that the radiation was such a problem. However, I managed to persuade her that it would be alright because I was much more likely to send text messages than I was to make phone calls, anyway. This meant that I was able to get it, and I stuck to my word and did not use it for anything other than text messaging.

Hiya vikku, Me I rarely use my Mobile unless I really want to and then I use mainly the text messaging more than anything and even then its mostly messages I have already got prepared so I can just press and send. It is a must to have a mobile in a way as most of the Phone Boxes as we know them are usually out of order either because they have been broken or the money stolen from inside and that part damaged so you cannot use the phone. For that reason a mobile phone is a good thing to have around and also if you get stuck anywhere you can tell your Family when you will be Home and other things like that apart from that the use I give it is minimal and I always put the loudspeaker on even if I am in a Shop I don´t care about if anyone can here as I don´t maintain a long conversation either. I suppose sometime or another mobile phones will be improved and they will become less of a health threat to us all. If they are used properly I don´t think there is too much of a threat at the moment.xxx

based on my nuclear chemistry subject, yes cellphones have radiation but its minimal...meaning it won't kill us humans....but of course with proper use... this radiation are just like of those radios and those tv's..it scares us because of the stereotyping we know that radiation is bad to our health but based on science specifically nuclear chemistry it's not true...

Not at all. I am not afraid of the radiation from the mobile phone since it is very common. Today we all have the mobile phones, but it doesn't mean that our health become worse due to it. You have to know that actually there are various radiation everywhere. They can come from TV, sun, microwave oven and so on. So why we have to blame the mobile phones? It doesn't make a sense. I love China

We are older and so we use the mobile phone much less that others would. One does wonder just how safe it is, especially when many use it constantly.

It didn't really affect my mobile usage. Anyway, I really don't use my phone that much for calling, I'm a person who will only make a call if I have too. Besides, radiation is everywhere. As long as I don't get more than 20mSv of dosage annually, I should be alright. I learned that when I took a short course on Radiation Safety.

I'm also aware of the news. After I watch the news I also started to use mobile phone in moderation and now I'm not putting the earphone because they said that it is high in radiation that could make you impotent and cause cancer. And at night I also shut off my mobile phone for precautionary measure.

Well I am not a very avid cell phone user so I do not have much to worry about. I do not take much precautions because I notice that of the billions who use cell phones, only a relative few of them are badly affected. However I still think it is wise for regular cell phone users to be careful.

yeahhh!!!!!!.. i too have heard about it a lot..but dnt realy care bout this because mobile phones are inseperatable part of my life so and carrying earphones everywhere is not really possible!!!!.:)
