The internet has been the most important discovery of our generation of our age. It has reinvented how we transfer our information around the world it has significantly deduced sending and receiving of information from months to seconds, in comparison to the snail mail or pigeon messengers. This change made the whole world move more efficiently and made everything else faster the lifestyle, technology and the Growth hope that one day this innovation would only change the world prior to speed but also towards brighter and safer future.

I was so slow to begin getting onto the Internet. I went to university in mid twenties and I avoided using the Internet. I only typed my assignments if I really had to do so. I preferred hand writing in those days. I believed that the Internet would be a short lived gadget but I turned out to be very wrong indeed! When I had my first teaching position I had to get good with computers but it was an uphill struggle. These days every business has the Internet and companies run on computing and if the system goes down they lose all their records. It is amazing how an email can go from the UK to Australia in seconds compared to letter was one week back in the 1990s. Yes, the Internet has changed the world for the better.

Yes it has, the internet helps people in so many ways, instead of purchasing books from the library and looking for a specific type of person to do research on we can use the internet, I have a older cousin who thinks thinks my generation was easy and good because when he was in school he had to look for books to write on and most of the time the books weren't there he says the internet makes everything easy.

I'd agree with you. Actually, in my opinion, the Internet is also very environment-friendly. Without the Internet, we would still be printing a lot of books today, thereby demand for paper would still be high. But with the Internet, you're not forced to print anymore, especially with the advent of cloud computing, syncing files has never been more efficient. You can view your favorite books or any reading materials as long as you're wired.

Hello, In my opinion Internet join the people, because does not matter where you live, for example I live in Spain and maybe you live in USA, but thanks to Internet we can comunicate and to say our opinion about any thing. Another thing very important, Internet is like a big square of freedom that the Governments wishs to control, but at moment they cant. Nowadays is already a revolution ans this is the beginning.

Internet is great especially if you use it properly like surfing and researching things online which made life actually a lot easier especially for students and many adults like us. Those that cannot afford to purchase books may have a cheaper alternative by going to an internet shop to surf and get details they need. It is just important though that people use this innovation properly and definitely it will give us a new alternative means of learning.
